Children worry.

Not understanding something is even scarier.

It is important to talk to your children about the rapidly changing world at the moment. When talking about COVID-19 with your children do so in an age-appropriate manner.

Try not to allow your own anxiety over this matter frighten your children. Focus on what we are all doing in order to keep them safe.

CORONOVIRUS AND TEENS

In this crisis talking to older children presents different challenges than those of young children.

Some older children are harder to persuade to practice social distancing. Most teenagers lives evolve around their peers.

Teens who already struggle with anxiety and depression will be impacted. Those who do not may present with symptoms. They are simply missing milestones in their lives and worry about their futures.
